This was originally a poem, a letter, and words for one of my artworks ‘Xanthorrhoea Glauca.’ I didn’t ever issue it with the artwork so I thought I’d make its debut on here.

You swayed my limbs and deterred my legs from the tracks. The tracks that went by the Xanthorrhoea Glauca and up onto the rocky promontory. You shook my wan’s with care and awoke the blacksmith beast whom tried to tear the Xanthorrhoea down. Oh, how? Ah, there. You saw me on the promontory and now you can’t let go of cloudy memoirs I put in your head. Your head is now filled, to the rim and the edge with a mist so dense. That is where life’s truth’s commence.
